The Siskiyou Daily News, a community daily newspaper, seeks an Editor. This is your opportunity as a journalist to move up to the editor’s chair!

The position requires working knowledge of Quark, Photoshop, newspaper layout experience, excellent writing skills, ability to meet deadlines and work flexible hours. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, management, organizational, design and editing skills, as well as a commitment to quality and teamwork.

The Siskiyou Daily Editor will supervise the news desk, manage freelancers and will rarely run out of good ideas to assign to reporters. This editor will be out and about in the community and developing resources.
