Spike.com is looking for a online editor in their content group to start immediately. This position demands someone who is first and foremost a writer with a strong grasp of online content, popular culture and the Spike Entertainment brand. Their duties will include the following but are not limited to: Being well versed in existing internet blogs, newsletters and other information sources for the aforementioned fields and writing content and blog entries for a young male audience. The types of written content will include but are not limited to: Top Ten Lists, Topical issues pertaining to men, Editorial “wrappings” for framing 3rd party web content into the Spike voice. Also, they will be coming up with online programming ideas.

Qualifications:
* Devout and complete interest and affinity for well-written online content that appeals to men..
* Strong knowledge of the online content environment (i.e. applicant is familiar with trends and successful cases in the world of viral videos and online content relevant to the aforementioned channel
* Strong writing skills and experience with blogging software
* Complete and comprehensive grasp of the rules of grammar
* Excellent communication & presentation abilities
* Computer & design skills including Illustrator & Photoshop
* Detail oriented, organized, efficient multi-tasking a MUST
* Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* Requires minimum supervision in completing a task.
Ideally, but not necessarily, the applicant would have some experience with online sales/integrated marketing.
