Imaginova Corp. is looking for a Staff Writer who is a motivated early-career journalist for online staff writer position. Some experience in science reporting is essential. Must be available to work in our New York office. The staff writer’s responsibilities would include reporting, writing and producing stories for LiveScience.com and Space.com. Some travel will be involved. The candidate should be able to operate in a dynamic, high-intensity environment.

Qualifications

* Experience in science reporting
* Some experience in Web production is helpful
* Ability to work independently but also work as part of a team when deadlines require
* Must have problem-solving attitude and ability to function in an intense, quick-turnaround environment
* Must have an enthusiastic, cooperative, congenial manner and a sense of humor.
