Upstream, the world´s leading international oil and gas newspaper is looking for two web journalists for its 24-hour news site.

The positions will be based at our Houston bureau.

Knowledge of the upstream oil and gas industry is not necessary, but experience of both reporting and production journalism is an advantage.

The ideal candidates will be self-motivated and resourceful, preferably with experience in daily newspapers and/or news gathering.

Candidates should be able to demonstrate their ability to write and edit clear, concise news stories, to work on technically demanding subject matter and make it digestible to a wider audience, to develop a strong contact base in the industry, and to be resourceful, motivated and confident. The salary is negotiable and depends on experience and qualifications.
