Oversee daily morning and noon newscasts Write news copy, edit news copy, and occasionally edit videotape; Coordinate satellite feeds and oversee daily franchises; Responsible for graphic look of the newscast; Be aware of current events and contribute to daily editorial meetings; and Perform other tasks related to the position as assigned.
Requirements: Minimum 3 years experience producing television newscast; Medium market preferred; Quick thinker, creative writer and ability to make quick decisions; Contribute to editorial meetings and generate story ideas; Must demonstrate the ability to exercise good news judgment and management of people; Ability to meet daily deadlines; Computer knowledge preferred; Must deal with pressure situations, demonstrate good news judgment and maintain a good attitude; Experience with DVC Pro equipment helpful; and Job Available: Immediately
