Risk is the only monthly magazine dedicated to the risk management and derivatives industry. We are looking for an experienced financial journalist, with a proven track record in breaking news, and developing and writing features. The successful candidate will be required to quickly develop industry contacts, and will judged on his/her ability to meet strict editorial deadlines. International travel is expected.

The job will involve breaking exclusive news stories, writing features and profiling senior industry figures. The successful candidate will also be expected to contribute a regular flow of stories to RiskNews, our daily online news service. This role may require US and international travel.

Qualifications • 2+ years financial/business journalism experience • Good knowledge of financial markets • Ability to chase down and break news • Ability to write clean copy and meet strict deadlines • Fluency in foreign languages and qualifications in finance/business is a definite advantage • Technical/mathematical skills
